Rolling Hills....Our New Home and Sim

My husband Dalton and I are decorating and landscaping addicts which is no secret to our friends and family. Before our twins Shane and Olivia were born on New Years Eve we lived on a homestead sim and it just wasn't enough prims for the two of us to remain creative as we needed to be so we moved to a full region and went wild. Nothing is more relaxing to us than landscaping, planting, building a house and decorating the interior.
This post we would like to invite you to see the outside. A large meadow which flows into our children's play yard and our working farm with horses, chickens and sheep. The other half of the sim is thick, lush, wild forest with abundant wildlife foraging everywhere and many in tucked away hidden places. Please enjoy our pictures and everything was made with love. (All pictures on this blog can be expanded by clicking on the picture.)

Below: Our lagoon which is often frequented by a family of whales which visit us from the ocean beyond. Our lagoon also hosts a large underwater world of fish and underwater wildlife...

One of our numerous freshwater ponds which can be found scattered across the countryside....

Below: Our rolling meadow which also hosts the children's play area...

Below: We have a hot air balloon that takes a relaxing meandering trip above the tree tops for a panoramic view of the sim....

Below: Our conservatory and our greenhouse. Our getaway....

As posted before by Dalton, we have a large herd of wandering horses which actually wander the area and graze. There are also 2 new, twin ponies recently born....
Our two husky dogs: Gunnar and Thor help patrol the farm and protect the livestock from the occasional fox or coyote...

Another view of one of our numerous ponds...

As you reach the end of the meadow and farm and traverse over the rolling hillside we come across the deep, woodland forest, teaming with wildlife...

The occasional bear has been spotted but have always kept their distance....

Follow the trail as it goes deeper and deeper into the woods...

Below: Our Koi pond stocked with Koi fish....

Below: The overgrown and secret door leading to the deep caves buried into the mountainside.

One of our favorite seating areas by our main pond on the edge of the forest....

One of the wales leaps out of the water in the lagoon...

Below: Under the smooth ripples of the lagoon there lies an underwater paradise of sunken ships and vast schools of fish...

Crossing the hollow log bridge we leave the forest and lagoon and back home.

Thank you for reading....Ziggy and Dalton and Shane and Olivia....
