What Are You New? Get A F&%King Clue....

Currently I have a been reading about some people being scammed on Second Life and sometimes involving huge amounts of real money not just Lindens. Most of these people were duped on the up and up without it being their fault whatsoever by dastardly methods by cheap 2 bit scammers. Scripts that steal your soul and there was nothing that could have been done to prevent it however this latest case involves someone who trusted another person and made a deal with their own doing  and then the scammer de-friended the trusting victim and disappeared. This person has been decimated and lost a huge amount of money that they currently cannot pay back. This is a different scenario because they went and did it willingly without being savvy enough to know this little rhyme....

Roses are red
Violets are blue
If you trust your friends
You will be screwed
Roses are red
Violets are black
If you look away
they stick a knife in your back...

Now this sounds harsh but TV's Peoples Court is full of this stuff as friends and family members sue each other because they involved trust and money with close friends or family etc.
Moral of this story and although it sounds cold and brutal..

Don't lend friends or family money, don't do business with friends or family and especially do not involve alot of real life money with some fucking avatar you meet online....

It leads to hurt feelings usually at the least and if someone gets mad at you for not lending them money then they were not friends to begin with and you can dump them in the vat of human excrement they belong in!

On a side note...I am not talking small amounts of money that you can live without if lost but if you can afford to expect to be ok if it is never paid back then go for it keeping in mind that it is just a gift that you may never recoup! Just sayin'

What a bleak view of humanity! You are so wrong... at least I hope you are.

Don't lend large amounts of money to anyone unless you consider it a gift and then I will be wrong ;-)

Well, I do not believe Ziggy is all wrong - a little cynical perhaps but thats why we love him isn't it?

I myself apply the policy about only lending out money which I can live with out if I should not be repaid. It helps me not to get frustrated with friends who for one reason or other do not or cannot repay me.
