Phoenix FireStorm Preview Release

Phoenix FireStorm Preview Release Available for Down Load NOW !!"

Phoenix FireStorm was just released and is available for download . Here are the links: "This is a PREVIEW Release !!"
A direct quote from the Phoenix Blog states.
"Do understand! The Firestorm Preview build should be considered Pre Alpha! Not beta,, not Release Candidate.. it is pre alpha and as such it has a lot of bugs that still need to be worked out."

I have been testing this and although it looks and feels like the horrible Viewer 2 it is much easier to find everything and use once you simply learn the new buttons along the bottom of the screen. The regular Phoenix Viewer extras are not yet included remember because this is a preview Alpha version and not the finished viewer.

Hmmm. Maybe this will be the version of Phoenix that doesn't crash dead on arrival before it ever launches for me. Will give it a try.

This is my favorite viewer so far. Granted most of the Phoenix features aren't enabled yet, but give it time. I am looking forward to the next updates.
I have crummy eyesight and the SLV2 type fonts and UI arrangement are simply easier for me to manage.Firestorm works even better or me in that regard. The only advantage SLV2 ha s at this point is the Body Physics. i hope Firestorm will have them soon , too. don't give me wrong there is nothing wrong with Phoenix in my opinion, but the UI arrangement and fonts give me a headache whenever i go back to it.
Most of all i am surprised how stable Firestorm is even at this preview stage.
It would be great if the spell-check and the Google translator in IM could be enabled soon.

Great work Phoenix team really.
About the only thing i don't like about Firestorm is it's name ( makes me think of Coventry, Dresden or the fire we had here in Oakland just a few years back)
